A way to beat the Monday blues

So usually Monday goes badly. Not just for me. Society. And this is proven by the amount of people that hate Monday. Now today started off badly because I was running late due to lost car keys (right now they are in my bike bag) and because I could not decide what to wear. So the bottom line is I left my house around 7:25 and had 20 or so minutes to be on time. Out of the question? Absolutely! I got into the building at 7:57 or 12 minutes late then rushed around like a mad woman until my students arrived. Despite all the lateness and running around I made time for toast :) delicious whole wheat toast with JIF Omega-3 Peanut Butter (they can thank me for the endorsement later). Monday continued to be the roller coaster that it is until I got home from school and found my prize from Cosmo Radio. I am so thankful for my bad day that won me a prize and for Lea P. because she sent it out to me. Following said incident I got ready to go to the gym and have I mentioned the wind yet today? Very chilly and pushy as far as wind goes. But, I rode all around this town which was for me the thing that made Monday good! There is something to be said about endorphins!

A Memory of a Lifetime

Today was a BEAUTIFUL spring day here in Texas. I woke up at the enjoyable hour of slightly past 7 and was able to enjoy a whole night of rest. I also had the opportunity to help a friend move today and it was great exercise and it was fun. After lunch my friend, Crystal, and her son C.J. came for a visit. C.J. is the most adventurous child I have ever met and it was fun watching him in my backyard. We got out the pool for Olive and Duke and it was humorous as usual to watch Duke "swim". At 5 I donned my cycling gear and headed down to the tree streets to pick up my pal Catrina and we rode for a long time. I got home at 6:30! It was FANTASTIC, I will never forget today and how free I felt to be going places without sitting in my car to do it. I am not sure if I will wake up sore or not... the wind provided quite a bit of resistance. I cannot wait to do it again tomorrow!
